The Cost of Being a Doctor?

I really didn't realize how much it costs to practice medicine. My great niece is graduating from medical school and she told me how much Medical Malpractice Insurance costs. All I could say was oh my gosh! No wonder they have to make so much money! They have to spend a lot of it on insurance. Hopefully she'll never have to use it.

Gag Gift for Christmas

Yep you guessed it I received a gag gift for Christmas. It was a couple of funny tshirts. Well, the gags on them! I really liked the shirts! I've worn them both already and enjoyed wearing them. As a matter of fact I'm thinking about ordering more. Now if they have long sleeve tshirts I'll be in heaven!

Finding a Rental?

My niece and her husband have been searching and searching for a rental. FINALLY, we drove down the right street and saw a sign that said for rent by owner. Thrill of thrills it was available and in their price range. Don't let anyone tell you there aren't miracles because there are. We are moving them in on Saturday just in time for Christmas!

Hiking in Winter?

OK this is crazy but my husband wants to go hiking and it's cold outside. He said he wanted to grab the jansport backpacks and go backpacking. Is that nuts or what? I told him I'm a fair weather girl. So he called his brother in law and is going with him. I told him that's OK with me I'll sit home drinking my hot chocolate in the warmth and watch TV.
