I've been watching the show about Ryan and Tatum O'Neal. This shows that anyone can have a dysfunctional family. What's really sad is that Tatum blames Ryan and yes you can see that he has a temper. Ryan he acts like he's never done anything wrong and can't figure out why everyone is picking on him. Sad to say a man who tears out a room so his own son will leave has issues. Except for his son with Farrah, is he close to ANY of his children? Maybe he should think about that and why it's that way. In the show he says he's lonely. You have to participate to be part of your kids life. Try it Ryan you might like it.

Honestly Karen the more i watch this show the more I empatize with Ryan. His daugher with all of her wrongs "Blames" him to the point of book sells & yet he tries to search for love. 25 yrs & now show where she totally trashes him and she has no room to talk. Without her book of "blames" she is nobody in hollywood or realwood! KNOW? She is so blaming!
Tatum clearly takes no responsibility for any failures. I am amost ready to stop watching because I feel so upset how she bashes her dad. He is sad to hope for love with her. I'm glad he has his dog. She wants him to beg for her love and that ain't right. I wouldnot even watch this show if not for Ryan. She is a brat!
I think I know the ending here. Ryan gets down on his knee caps & kisses Tatums hands begging and saying, "forgive me for making yr life a failure." Tatum says, well too little; too late! Ryan gets up, angry of course; and says "love means never having to say yr sorry." Tatum smiles, and answers, "whats love gottta do even a ?" Ryan looks really deep into her eyes and says, "I shot the sherrif, but I did not kill the deputy." Tatum replys,"kinda of a drag." Ryan answers, well "black is black." Tatum says, "been long time coming." Ryan punches his hanging weight bag at the beach house and without even a pause,"You got me babe!"
