Acne Again!!

I am an adult so you would think I would be past the time for the need to have a acne treatment. I woke up this morning and had a huge zit on my chin. I mean what the heck is up with that? You would think a person would grow out of this. I hated having acne as a teenager, and I really hate it as an adult. Well off to buy acne meds again!

Honeymoon in Orlando!

As you probably read in the previous post my niece got married today. They are now on their way to their honeymoon in Orlando. That was some of what I did to help them with the planning. I did the research on the different orlando vacations available. I got the information and printed out the info so they could read it. It was just my little way of helping. I helped some here and there just to kind of help with the little things. I always wished when I got married that I had someone to take care of all the little things so that's what I tried to do for them.

I love Weddings!

We went to my nieces wedding today. She was soooo beautiful. The men were all dressed in their black tuxedos with their beautiful burgundy cumber bands and they were very handsome. It was just beautiful. They picked pretty music and the flowers were white, pink, and burgundy. Her mother made the wedding cake and it could have rivaled any professional cake baker. As you can tell I love weddings and this one really made my day.

Harley Riding Today!

My husband and I took the Harley's out today to just enjoy the wonderful weather. I mean it was absolutely beautiful out. Anyway we were looking for some new motorcycle covers, but we just couldn't find covers that we liked. They need to protect the bikes, but they also need to be in general really heavy duty, and look nice. Oh yeah, I don't want them to cost an arm and a leg either. I guess we will have to run to another city and see what they have to offer.

I need to find a Dentist!

OK, I need to find a dentist a soon as possible! I chipped a tooth and I have to get it fixed. So now I'm searching for a orange nj dentist. The question is who has the best prices. There are lots of dentists listed so I guess I am going to have to just pick some and start calling. It is going to cost me, but hopefully not more than absolutely necessary.

Credit Card Companies Charging a Fee if You Pay the Balance Monthly

I found out that credit card companies are going to start charging people who pay off their credit card balance every month. No matter what I charge I pay the bill off at the end of every month. Why are they starting to do this? All I can say is I won't be using my credit cards anymore.

The Best Place to Buy Medical Equipment?

We need to buy some medical equipment for my husbands mother. The question is where do you get the best deal? As I am sure you know medical equipment is expensive. Some of it can be rented but some you must buy. We already bought her a breathing machine, but we need several more things. Does anyone have any recommendations?

Jeff Dunham's New Show is a Hoot!

I decided to watch Jeff Dunham's new TV show. He is sooo funny! If you get a chance catch it on Thursdays nites at 8pm central on the Comedy channel. My favorite of his characters are Walter and Peanut. When I watch his videos I laugh my ass off. I was kind of afraid his show might not be as good, but guess what it is as good and better!

What a Great Halloween Party!

We went to Kerry's Halloween costume party last Saturday. It was a blast. I dressed up in an old costume because I honestly couldn't think of anything new. Anyway we were talking and her husband had been laid off for a while and finally got a job selling industrial products. I was really happy for her, but anyway it was such a hoot. She played some comedian DVDs and I laughed so hard I thought I would pee my pants. I am sure that the alcohol helped, but it was still really funny.

My Local Grocery had Halloween Candy on Sale CHEAP!

I went to our local Dillon's today to buy groceries and they had Halloween candy on sale. With coupons they were 88 cents a bag! Yahoo! That is the cheapest I have EVER gotten Halloween candy! Well anyway it made my day!

Shopping, Shopping, Shopping!

Barb and I went shopping last week. She needed to get a special light bulb so we went to a home improvement store. After we found her bulb we went to look at ceiling fans. They have some of the prettiest ceiling fans I have ever seen. I would love to put a new one in the living room but it needs to be quiet. I hate noisy ceiling fans. Anyway, she found a small, plain one on sale for her office. I found one I like too, but I think I am going to wait until they put it on sale.

The US is Paying the Taliban to Change Sides?

Oh my God! Now I have heard everything! The US is talking about PAYING the Taliban to get them to switch sides. Who the heck thought this one up? I can here the guys thoughts now - WHAT IDIOTS! THEY WILL PAY US TO QUIT THE TALIBAN! WE WILL SAY WE QUIT, TAKE THEIR MONEY AND STILL SUPPORT THE TALIBAN! I am embarrassed for my country. What kind of idiots do we have in our government? I don't know about anyone else but this isn't how I want MY tax money spent.

Ipods? Do You have One?

Do you have an Ipod? I have been thinking about buying one for awhile, but I just can't figure out which kind to get. I think I have looked a a dozen different ipods so far. Is there one that is better than another? Which ipod is the best price? Do they come in colors? Red being my favorite color I would really like a red one. Do they all work the same or are there differences? If anyone has a suggestion let me know.

What is your Halloween Costume?

What costume are you dressing up in this year for Halloween? I really just can't decide what to dress up as. I was thinking maybe Minnie Mouse, but I can't find all the parts I need for the costume. So now I'm drawing a blank. I just can't think of anything to dress up as. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Should I get a Walk In Tub?

I have been deliberating for days as to whether I should get a walk in tub or not. I have looked at tons of walk in tubs already and I think it would be a great idea. They even have walk in tubs that are huge like spa's. As you get older it becomes more and more of a pain to step over the side of the tub. A walk in tub would make getting into the tub so much easier. They are kind of expensive so now I have to find just the right walk in tub for me.

Larry Langford GUILTY!

I read today in the news that the jury in the Larry Langford trial found him guilty. The jury returned its verdict less than three hours after beginning deliberations. The jury found Larry Langford guilty on all 60 counts against him. The counts rang from bribery to money laundering during his tenure as president of the Jefferson County Commission.

The conviction means Langford is immediately removed from office as mayor of Birmingham. He will be replaced by Birmingham City Council President Carole Smitherman.

Porcelain Veneers might be what you need

Are your teeth dark or stained. Wouldn't it be great if they were white again? Then you probably need Plano porcelain veneers. I have been thinking about getting veneers myself. My teeth were stained when I was young because of a medicine my mother gave me, my sister, and brother when we were young. I personally would love to have a perfectly white smile. Maybe I will check them out after Christmas.

Have you Carved your Pumpkin for Halloween Yet?

I carved my Halloween pumpkin today and all I can say is thank god for stencils. I have never been very good at carving but with a stencil it just makes it a whole lot easier. The only problem for me when carving a pumpkin is getting past the uck factor. I mean that is the only way I can describe cleaning out the insides of a pumpkin it is just in a word GROSS! Thank goodness my husband took pity on my this year and cleaned out the inside for me. Thank God!

Central Vacuum Motor Needs Replaced!

I love my central vacuum. If you don't have one you don't know what your missing. That is until it quits working. I called the repair man and he came out to look at it. Yep you guessed it, the news wasn't good. The lamb motor needs replaced. My husband said to just buy a regular vacuum, but I said I'm the one who uses it and when you've had a central vacuum you never go back. I told him we're replacing it. No discussion.

How to figure out what you would love to do?

I am really burnt out now with my job. I want to find my job that I will love. The question is how do you really find out what you are meant to do. The job that you will love. Is there a trick? Is there a secret? How do you really figure it out? I have never had a clue what my true love job is. You would think I would have figured it out by now, but I think I am more the rule than the exception.

I need an Appetite Suppressant!

It seems like I'm hungry a lot. I would love to find a safe natural appetite suppressant. Really I would like to find the best appetite suppressant. My sister suggested I drink more water too because it will make me feel fuller. I do think that's a good idea, but an appetite suppressant couldn't hurt right? You know it's heck losing weight these days!

New Pre-School Needs Classroom Furniture

My sister in-law has decided to start a pre-school so she is getting together all the supplies and furniture she needs. The problem is we are having a hard time finding classroom furniture. It's really a lot harder to find than it sounds. We actually went to a grade school and talked to the principal. She did give us some names of some different companies that sell classroom furniture. Now the next step is to see what they have available and how much it costs.

A Safe Weight Loss Drug?

I read an article that medical science is trying to come up with a safe weight loss drug. I honestly don't think there is any drug that is truly safe. As big as Americans are getting we need something, but is it really another drug? I don't know I don't trust a lot of the drugs now why would I trust the weight loss drug?

Time to Buy a Home Gym

With the economy the way it is it's just not feasible to have a membership at a gym. I mean it's just an extra expense that I and a lot of people just can't afford. I think it's time that we look into home gyms and see how much it will cost to set up our own. The questions are would we use it? What is the best brand of equipment to get? Are there any bargains out there? I guess it's time to do some investigation.

Should we move to Mexico and Take Their Jobs?

We just found out the manufacturing plant my husband works at is closing here and moving to Mexico. That is about a dozen of them I have heard of. Maybe we AMERICANS need to migrate to Mexico and take their jobs? Talk their government into paying our medical expenses and give us welfare. What do you think? Time to turn the tables?

Do I need a new Air Filter?

It's time to replace the furnace air filter. I really like the new kind of more efficient air filters that are available now. I think the quality of the filters has improved. I don't mind paying a little more as long as they work well and are of pretty good quality. Well anyway off to order my filters!

Oh my god how funny! Maria Shriver doesn't even follow California's cell phone laws and her husband Arnold Schwarzenegger is governor. Her punishment for her not following the cell phone law? She is going to donate her old cell phone to Verizon for domestic violence shelters. Now really would we get off so easy? I guess the saying is true money talks and BULLSHIT walks.

Oh Yeah, Time for DNA Testing!

My friend was so upset about her son. He has been dating this woman who has two children and she is now pregnant with a third. Problem is she has been seeing another man at the same time she was seeing my friends son. So now the question, who's child is it really? I told her it was time for DNA testing. I mean yes if it's his then he needs to be responsible but I wouldn't be willing to pay if it wasn't my child. Especially since they are no longer together. Hopefully, he'll be smart and have the testing done.

Is the H1N1 Vaccine Safe?

I read in the news that there are questions as to whether the H1N1 vaccine is actually safe. I don't trust the government anyway why would I trust this vaccine. For me personally it is a moot point since I can't take the vaccines due to what is in them. Are these actually vaccines? Or are we the governments guinea pigs again? I don't know about you, but I have had it with being manipulated by the government.

Should I buy a Kettleball?

I have been reading a lot about what a Kettlebell is and how it works. So I went on the Internet to see what they look like. The funny thing about them is they actually look like kettles somewhat. Anyway, I have been wanting to build up my arms and get rid of the flab so I thought I might buy one. I would love to get rid of the underarm wobble. I'm thinking what the heck I'll give it a try!

Do you need a Plasma TV?

I am really trying to decide whether I want to buy a Plasma TV or not. Is it better to buy that or a HD TV or a regular TV? Which is really best? I have really been looking at different plasma tvs. I really want a 40" TV so I'm just not sure what to get. Maybe I should just stick with a Sony and be done with it. Does anyone out there have any suggestions?

I'm Ready to Go to the Caribbean!

I am ready to go to the Caribbean! I hate cold weather and I live in Kansas! How the heck did I get born here? I wish I had the ability to move to the Caribbean. I would love to be in a place that is warm all the time. Does anyone know of any other places that are nice all year round? If you do please let me know.

I need a new rug for the basement. So now I am in search of a new rug. There are tons of different websites that sell guess what? rugs! One place that has some great rugs is http://www.rugshowplace.com. I love the different rugs they offer. My favorite rug is the Sphinx "Solutions" Rug. I love all the colors and it has a lot of warmth to it. The price is pretty reasonable too. I always like to check out a lot of different options before I make a decision, but it is definitely in the running.

LED Taillights, Are they Better?

Well I have a taillight out, so I need to replace it. When I went to get it replaced they asked me whether I wanted led taillights or regular bulb taillights. Well I thought I heard that led lights shine brighter so I told him to use the led ones. When I got home I did some research and yep I was right. They are suppose to be brighter. David Letterman revealed Affairs With Staff Members

I read in the news today that David Letterman revealed on his show that he had in the past had affairs with some of his female staff members. Talk about taking advantage of your position! I wonder how many of the women were pushed in to it? I never really liked him and now I really have a reason not to like him. I hope he loses his fans.
