Sinus problems hang on, and on, and on

I have been having sinus problems for the last 3 weeks after catching a virus. You would think by now that it would calm down, but the sinus drainage is still there. Constantly! I have been taking over the counter medicine but it's not really working. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Time to Relax and Watch Extreme Makeover!

Well now that I have ranted and raved in my other posts I am going to relax. I just finished watching Extreme Makeover and am now checking out some netbooks. It is really gratifying to see how they help people who have had tragedy in their lives or help other people. I must say also that they design some really beautiful homes. The one tonight was for a man who not only had 3 sons but also had a club for the neighborhood kids. Their house was in really bad repair and now the new home is absolutely beautiful. They also built a separate building for the club of kids. In general I think Extreme Makeover is a wonderful and inspiring show. It had me crying!

Empowerment Experiment Buy Black is REVERSE DISCRIMINATION!

The new thing now is the Empowerment Experiment where they are only buying from black business people for a year. WHAT A JOKE! All my life I have heard DISCRIMINATION, DISCRIMINATION, DISCRIMINATION! Now they are discriminating. I am sick of people bowing to other races because they are afraid of the word discrimination. Well this empowerment thing IS reverse discrimination. They are discriminating against all races except the blacks. Imagine that! All you ever heard was poor us, and all the other crap. My sympathy for them is gone. From now on they discriminate against me and I am going to holler and sue for REVERSE DISCRIMINATION!

Need to go toy shopping!

My nieces birthday is coming up. The problem is what do you buy the kid that has everything? I mean this kids room is FILLED with toys, but I really believe as the aunt that she should have something she wants. Can you guess what she asked for? You got it she wants a new doll. So I am now on the doll hunt. It really sounds easy doesn't it? Well guess what it's not. This particular doll she saw on TV and I haven't been able to find it yet. So I will keep looking wish me luck!

Mortgage Rescue? What about the rest of us?

Now they are setting up a mortgage rescue for the dead beats that don't pay there house payments and lost their homes. Well what about the rest of us who pay our bills? Why are the ones who are in the wrong getting special treatment? That is really REVERSE DISCRIMINATION! I am so tired of everyone rewarding the people who are in the wrong. When do the large majority of people who pay their bills and don't cause trouble get a benefit? I for one am tired of it and am ready to quit paying taxes that is used to support this insanity!

Obama Pro Choice and So Am I So There Norma McCorvey

Lord knows that I don't agree with Barack Obama about anything except for one. I believe in Pro-Choice. It should be the woman's right to chose. No one should have the right to tell anyone else what they have to do with their body. I have never believed in anyone telling people how to live there lives, how to believe in god, and who to love. It is absolutely no ones business, but theirs. As my daddy always said I don't pee in someone else's backyard or sit at their outdoor dining sets so I don't appreciate them peeing or sitting in mine.

Farrah's Story Is Very Inspiring

I just finished watching Farrah's Story. What a huge amount of inspiration she is. She will not give up. I hope she never gives up. It shows the hell that anyone with cancer goes thru. Ryan O'Neal was an inspiration to me too, like all the husband's, wife's,girlfriend's, boyfriend's, and all the families who stand behind and support the people fighting this horrible disease. My prayers are with you Farrah and family.

Dan Brown's Angels and Demons

I was watching the previews for the new movie about Dan Brown's book Angels and Demons. You know that some is not true, but I really believe that the Vatican has tons of history and secrets hidden in their archives that affects the world and could actually rock their religion. Which as you and I know explains why it is hidden. I am not against the Catholic religion per-say but I am against them thinking they have the right to make up their own rules and hide our history. They say they aren't hiding anything. If that's true then let us see what is in the whole archive not just the parts you let people outside the Vatican see. What are they afraid of? What are they really hiding? If we ever find out it could change the world. I think Dan Brown's next book should include some Argentina travel. I think it is a country full of mysteries.

Reverse Discrimination Yes is does Exist

My husband told me today that they are letting some of the Caucasian people go instead of the equal share of minorities because the companies are afraid of discrimination lawsuits. Well now I am here to holler REVERSE DISCRIMINATION. Actually someone I know has started a reverse discrimination lawsuit. I am sooo tired of people getting special treatment because of their skin color. I feel like it is discrimination to people who are Caucasian. I'm not asking for special treatment I just think everyone should be treated the same. Maybe if we have some reverse discrimination lawsuits people will stop worrying so much about discrimination. Hopefully they will equal each other out.

Farrah Fawcett My Prayers are with You

I am so sorry to hear that Farrah Fawcett's battle with cancer isn't going well. I always thought she was a lovely woman. I hate hearing about ANYONE suffering. You have to give Ryan O'Neal credit for staying with her and being supportive of her. I know she had them filming a documentary of her journey of dealing with cancer called Farrah's Story. You would think with all the money they spend in research every year for cancer that they would find a cure, or have they and they just aren't saying? My guess is they spend all their time shopping at Outer Banks instead of doing research.

Mexican Migration to US Way Down Yahoo!

I read today that the Mexican migration to the US is way down. Well sure it is there aren't as many jobs available with the economy how it is. My answer is yahoo! I am SOOO tired of going places and hearing Spanish spoken instead of English. If you would move to France or Spain you would need to learn French or Spanish. Well guess what it should be the same here. If you come to America you should learn to speak English or suffer along. We didn't make concessions for the people who came here from all the other countries around the world why should we make concessions for the Mexicans?

Do you believe in the Paranormal?

Do you believe in the Paranormal? I can tell you that I do. I have never seen a spirit but I know with out a doubt that my father is on the other side and my grandmother. I think of them frequently and feel them around. I don't know how I know, but I just know. I have never been afraid of death either. Don't get me wrong I'm not looking forward to it, but I'm not afraid of it. I just feel like there is another dimension or what they call the other side and our loved ones are there. My grandmother I know is there still taking her Liporexall, and playing cards with my dad, and aunt.

Do you watch Ghost Adventures on the Travel Channel?

I have been watching on Friday nights a show called Ghost Adventures. I do enjoy watching it but is it true? What I mean by that is I am questioning if it is all true and real or is any of it set up? I truly believe in it more than Ghost Hunters anymore. Ghost Hunters looks so set up. Don't get me wrong I believe in spirits, but I want to watch shows that are real not set up. Let me know what you think.

I really need an appetite suppressant

I think everyone needs an appetite suppressant now and again. My downfall is chocolate. I just love chocolate. Sometimes I just crave it especially chocolate ice cream. I am really picky about what I am willing to take so I want a natural appetite suppressant that doesn't have anything in it that will hurt you. Does one exist that really works? Well that's the million dollar question isn't it. If anyone knows of one I am all ears.

Mark Herzlich has Cancer

The Boston College junior linebacker Mark Herzlich, revealed today that he has cancer. Isn't that sad? Why does it seem to happen to people with tons of talent? He has Ewing's Sarcoma, a malignant tumor found in bone or soft tissue. I will keep him and his family in my prayers.

Barbara Sheehan On Oprah

I saw today that Barbara Sheehan who killed her abusive ex police officer husband was on Oprah today. What a sad sad story. It's too bad that her husband was so abusive that she had to kill him to get away from him. Most of us just have mundane lives where we pay our bills, and auto insurance, and never have to deal with abuse. Sometimes women have no way out. My thoughts are why didn't she try to get away when he was gone? Leave and go to a women's center? Here where I live there are women's centers that no one knows the locations of that you can contact a abuse hot line and they will get you to a center where your husband can't find you. They will even take you out of town. I just wonder if she tried to get away?

Learning to Write or at least trying

I am really trying to learn how to write. The problem is everyone gives a different way to do it. OK,so which way is the right way? Some talk about letting the creativity flow thru you. Kind of being a transcriber more than writing. I think this is a great idea the problem is things are not flowing. Imagine that. Is it only something you are born with? The ability to write? Or is it a process a certain procedure? At this point I say who the heck knows? Anyone have any advice??

Chrysler Dealerships closing including ours

Our local Chrysler Dealership is closing along with a ton of others. It's really sad that this is happening, but since they are trying to use our tax money and put every American in hock for the rest of their lives I am having VERY little sympathy. Since when is it our responsibility as law abiding, TAX PAYING citizens to bail out the world? My answer to the car manufacturers woes. NO MORE MONEY! IT SUCKS TO BE YOU! Maybe they should have gotten a insurance quote on any insurance that could possibly bail them out of trouble.

Susan Boyle on Oprah with Simon Uck!

Sorry team but I just can't STAND Simon. I think Susan Boyle has a outstanding voice but of course Simon just can't be helpful and supportive. He has to be an ass. Normal Simon. I hope that Susan doesn't pay any attention to Simon and follows her dreams. Good Luck Susan on Oprah's show.
