Go on a Ski Vacation - Are you Kidding?

My friend asked my husband and myself if we would like to go with them on a ski vacation. Are they kidding me? I think this would be wonderful to do IF you liked the mountains. I have never skied because I hate the mountains. They completely scare the heck out of me. I'm from Kansas which is very flat just the way I like it. Last April we went for a few days in Colorado gambling and I hated the mountains then just as much as I did on our trip when I was a child. My answer to my friend was thanks for the invitation. I hope you have a great time, but there is NO WAY I'm going to the mountains.
